ROSEBUSH, MICHIGAN, UNITED STATES, November 11, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — Rosebush, Michigan; November 11, 2016 – R-Value Foam has announced completion of a thirty-four-mile long Pennsylvania pipeline project using an improved foam formula delivering significant performance and cost benefits to its end customers. The company credits the new formula with improving product yield by 1/3, with commensurate customer savings on the material required for each project.

R-Value Foam President, Mark Benaske said, “This latest project incorporated an important advance in foam formulation for improved cathodic protection. This is critical to insuring corrosion resistance that significantly improves the safety and useful life of the pipeline.”

The company’s website explains that cathodic protection is insured by using a foam formula for specific water absorption to permits a small amount of electric current to pass through the pipeline. This electric current is instrumental and effective in prohibiting pipeline corrosion.
